Essential storage
Authentication/session information and application parameters may use browser storage so the service can recognise an authenticated session and return users to the correct application state.
Non-essential tracking
The current release must not silently enable advertising or non-essential tracking. If analytics or marketing technologies are introduced, their purposes and consent requirements must be assessed and the controls updated before activation.
Choices
Where non-essential technologies become applicable, users must receive appropriate controls rather than having optional tracking inferred from use of the service.
